    My name is Chris Glancy and I am the Founder and Managing Director of Metahead.

    I have worked closely with some of the world’s most well known brands including Google, Visa, Johnson & Johnson across Innovation Strategy and Partnerships at WPP’s Group M as well as Shazam prior to it’s acquisition by Apple.

    I could not be more excited about the convergence of technology and rapid innovation taking place today. When you look at growth through the way fans and customers can now radically experience entertainment, socialise, shop, work through tech innovation… Brands and traditional players are slow to react, that is where Metahead comes in to help.

    With over a decade of experience in digital strategy, partnerships, and business development, I specialize in bridging the gap between emerging technologies and commercial success. Having spearheaded high-impact initiatives in Web3, blockchain ecosystems, and digital media, I now offer consultancy services to help businesses leverage cutting-edge platforms, partnerships, and media innovations to unlock growth.

    Previously, at NEAR Foundation, I played a pivotal role in forging strategic partnerships with FMCG enterprises and Web3-native projects, driving ecosystem expansion, and implementing scalable solutions that enhanced efficiency across 100+ accounts. My ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships resulted in over $1.25MM in savings through restructured partnerships and conflict resolution. Additionally, I developed market-defining strategies that positioned 50+ development agencies within the ecosystem.

    Prior to NEAR, I held key roles at Rakuten Advertising and Threepipe, where I managed global partnerships, drove multi-channel media strategies, and secured high-profile clients such as VISA, KFC, Coca-Cola, and Mastercard. My expertise spans digital transformation, performance marketing, and commercial strategy, with a deep understanding of attribution models, programmatic media, and the evolving Web3 landscape.

    Now, as an independent consultant, I provide strategic guidance and business solutions that help organizations harness the power of new technologies, optimize partnerships, and drive sustainable growth.
